Along with this, artisans are also getting a platform.

Fajan and Prishanjit Bishwa, who came from Assam to sell handloom sarees and chadars, said that this is a beautiful plan by the Gujarat government. After cities including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, now Madhavpur has provided free stalls and lodging and dining facilities. We sell sheets, sarees that reflect the culture of Assam. In which Assam’s state animal, the one-horned rhinoceros, Muga silk saree like patola of Patan, women plucking tea in tea fields, chadar worn during Assam’s popular Bihu festival, and other traditional items were expressed with joy.

Apart from this, K. Paul and Dolly, who came to the fair to sell traditional dresses from Manipur, cultural clothes worn in various festivals, hill hats, jewelry, said that the hospitality of Gujarat is very beautiful. We are here to sell regional popular handicrafts of Manipur. Shells and mussels found in the sea here are rare to find in Manipur. These shells are useful for making handicrafts.
