Prayagraj: The month-long Joint Receipt Inspection (JRI) of the first tranche of C-295 MW deliverables, received from Airbus Defence and Space, successfully culminated at 24 Equipment Depot (ED), Air Force Station Manauri of Prayagraj, on Tuesday.
The occasion was marked with exchange of memorandum of inspection between Air Commodore Angshuk Pal, Air Officer Commanding 24 ED and representatives of Airbus Defence and Space. The exchange of memorandum of inspection was done in the presence of Air Vice Marshal Venigalla Srinivas Choudary (VM), senior Air and Administrative Staff Officer, headquarter maintenance command, informed this through a communique.
24 ED, Air Force station Manauri is the designated nodal supply chain management hub of Indian Air Force (IAF) for C-295 MW aircraft spares. Exclusive warehousing facilities for housing C-295MW assemblies and parts were inaugurated here at 24 ED on July 24 this year. Following this, the month-long JRI of the first tranche of C-295 MW deliverables, which were earlier received from Airbus Defence & Space, was carried out by officials of 24 ED last month.
