In Gujarat, while there is a lot of talk about the implementation of the new education policy and the quality of education on the one hand, as it is known, today in Bhavnagar district, where the posts of regular teachers are vacant in the government primary schools, the itinerant teachers have been ordered to be dismissed. Hence, there will be a shortage of teachers in the schools just before the examination. Especially, the lack of subjects like mathematics, science and English in government primary schools can lead to a situation where the horse does not run on the day of Dussehra itself.

From today, March 31, 2023, the traveling teachers working in government primary schools owned by Panchayat Education Committee in Bhavnagar district will be dismissed. In government primary schools which do not have regular teachers of subjects like Mathematics, Science, English, itinerant primary teachers were recruited with honorarium till regular teachers of these subjects are recruited permanently. But as they were ordered to be released today, now that the exam is next week, who will give last minute guidance in subjects like maths, science, English and questions like supervision in the exam and evaluation of answer sheets will arise in the coming days.
