AHMEDABAD: After a brief hiatus, unseasonal rain – caused by a fresh western disturbance – will likely return from Thursday onwards, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast states.
According to the forecast, on Thursday, Banaskantha, Patan, Morbi, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Kutch will get sporadic light rain or thundershowers.
On Friday, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Banaskantha, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar and Kutch districts are likely to get light rain or thundershowers. The city’s maximum temperature at 36.4°C was 1.2 degrees lower than normal, and the minimum at 18.6°C was 2.8 degrees lower than normal.
‘Rise in maximum temperatures by two-three degrees during next three days. Thereafter fall by two-three degrees in subsequent two days very likely,’ the IMD forecast said.
