Computer ‘paper’ Goes Viral During Exam | Ahmedabad News

AHMEDABAD: On Monday, the computer studies question paper of the Class 12 general stream went viral on social media while the exam was underway.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), however, said that 12 of the questions on the paper circulated on social media were on the question paper given to students on Monday.

The board denied that its paper had leaked, but said it was in the process of lodging a police complaint in the matter.
Sources said the Class 12 general stream computer studies exam began at 3pm and was to end at 5.15pm. While the exam was underway, Yuvrajsinh Jadeja, an activist working on question paper leaks, tweeted a computer studies question paper, claiming the board exam paper had leaked.
In his tweet posted along with screenshots showing the question paper, Jadeja said he had information that the computer studies question paper had leaked. He said that he could not personally confirm that the question paper on social media was the same one given to students as the exam was still underway.
Sources said after this tweet, GSHSEB officials hurried to find out if the paper had leaked. Sources said the question paper was being circulated about an hour and a half hour after the exam began.
After the exam ended, the board issued a statement denying that the paper had leaked. The board said there were similar questions on the social media question paper to those in the exam.
Subject experts said the question paper posted online was the same as the one in the exam.
Sources said the board is unlikely to re-conduct the examination as the question paper was circulated on social media platforms one and a half hours after the exam began.
