Chennai Central Metro station gets some more facilities for passengers | Chennai News

CHENNAI: New facilities, including a baby feeding room and escalators, have been added at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr M G Ramachandran Central Metro station to encourage more footfalls.
In a release, Chennai Metro Rail Ltd said a feeding room was set up at Central Metro for the comfort and privacy of mothers with infants. “Soon, the facility will be provided at a few more metro stations,” CMRL officials said.

The other facilities include two escalators from concourse to platform 1 and 2 for seamless movement of passengers.
A total of 41 escalators will be installed at the metro stations in the city.
