The bodies of an unidentified couple have been recovered by the fire brigade team from the clean Narmada Canal in Gandhinagar today. On coming to know about this incident, the Adalaj police have reached the spot and are taking legal action including identification of the two uninherited bodies.

The Gandhinagar Fire Brigade team immediately rushed to the canal after learning that the bodies of an unknown couple were floating in the clean Narmada Canal of Gandhinagar. On the one hand, amid the onset of unseasonal rain, the firemen started the process of removing the bodies of the unknown couple from the canal.

On the other hand, seeing the dead bodies of the couple in the canal, pedestrians and motorists also gathered in large numbers. Then, after a lot of effort, the fire brigade personnel took out the bodies of the couple from the canal. Later Adalaj police was informed.

As a result of which the staff members including ASI Sandeep Bhai of Adalaj Police Station have rushed to the neat Narmada Canal. In this regard, the police said, an investigation is currently underway for the identification of the uninherited body of the couple. There are chances that both will be identified by late night.
