A 70-year-old woman fell into the underground water tank of a house in a society near Awakar Hall in Ghodasar area of ​​Ahmedabad. His son jumped in to save them but both were trapped in the tank. Locals informed the fire brigade team as the mother and son got trapped in the water tank. The fire brigade team reached the spot immediately. Firemen descended into the narrow water tank and pulled the two out alive using a rope ladder. In 25 minutes, the fire brigade took the mother and son out safely after a lot of effort and sent them to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The Ahmedabad Fire Brigade control room received a call around 6.45 pm on Saturday that a lady and her son had fallen into a water tank at Ramakrishna Society near Awakar Hall in Ghodasar area. So the team of Jashodanagar and Maninagar fire station reached the spot immediately. The Jashodanagar fire station personnel took down the rope ladder and descended into the water tank. The water tank was very narrow in which the firemen got down. First, 70-year-old Maji Bhagwatiben Mistry, who fell in the water, was pulled out and then his son Sanjaybhai Mistry was brought out safely and sent to the hospital for treatment.

Bhagwatiben, who lived in Ramakrishna Society, had an underground water tank on the way to his house and its cover was very old. While walking from there, they fell inside. As soon as the old Bhagwatiben fell into the water-filled tank, his son came to know. His son also stepped in to save them. However, they were also trapped in the water. Both were unable to get out. So the locals came running. They informed the fire brigade and the fire brigade team rescued them for 25 minutes and got them out safely.
