3 with Rs 1.5 crore foreign cash held at Mumbai airport | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of Customs along with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) arrested three persons including a couple who were trying to smuggle Rs 1.5 crore in foreign currency hiding inside their baggage at Mumbai International airport on Saturday.
The CISF officials intercepted passengers identified as Ankit Arvind Shah, Ashina Ankit Shah and Neeta Rinkesh Jain while clearing immigration at the airport. The money was found during a physical check of their baggage.
